Report: Katy Perry and John Mayer Part Ways

Though he's dated a plethora of Hollywood hunnies, many were hoping the relationship between John Mayer and Katy Perry would be his last.
Unfortunately, the pair have broken up for a second time, according to Us Weekly. Though they started their romance in summer 2012, the two split in August before quickly reuniting in September.

Will another quickie reconciliation occur this time around? One insider reports, "It's sad. It's not over until it's over. You have to see how things play out."
The couple's busy schedules may have something to do with the cooling off. While Katy has been busy recording her third album in L.A., John is gearing up for his first round of tour dates since throat surgery last year.

Katy Perry & John Mayer’s Early Valentine’s Celebration

Treating themselves to a romantic evening out, Katy Perry and John Mayer showed up at Katsuya Restaurant in Brentwood, California last night (February 12).
The “No Such Thing” stud donned a denim button-up shirt with a tiger face embroidered on the back as he escorted his lovely lady from the popular eatery.

Earlier this week, John and Katy teamed up with Perry’s parents to catch up on life while dining at the swanky Mr. Chow.
An eyewitness told press, “Katy couldn’t have looked happier. She was just beaming with a huge smile on her face. Katy, John Mayer and her parents seemed to be celebrating the night. They were laughing a lot and looked really at ease and comfortable with each other.”

Katy Perry & John Mayer Cozy Up at the 2013 Grammy Awards

After walking the red carpet, Katy Perry and John Mayer enjoyed the festivities at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards.
The two lovers showed their affection while sitting together and taking in performances including Kelly Clarkson, The Black Keys and Rihanna.

Last night, Katy and John enjoyed a Pre-Grammy Gala and Salute to Industry Icons in Beverly Hills.
According to sources, the pair "seemed really happy and content." The onlooker added, "She fixed his hair and they chatted."

Stepping out to honor one of the music industry’s greats, Katy Perry and John Mayer attended Clive Davis & the Recording Academy's 2013 Pre-Grammy Gala on Saturday (February 9) in Beverly Hills.
Looking elegant in a white Rafael Cennamo gown and Charlotte Olympia heels, the “Hot and Cold” beauty was accompanied by her dapper boyfriend as they rubbed elbows with fellow celebs including Jennifer Hudson and Miley Cyrus.

Held at the iconic Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel, the event was billed as a salute to industry icons and honored Antonio 'L.A.' Reid for his contributions to the music world.
