FA Slams Sun Newspaper Over Hodgson Jibes

The Football Association has criticised The Sun newspaper over its headline about new England manager Roy Hodgson which appeared to play on how he talks.
Its front page carried the words: "Woy gets England job. Bwing on the Euwos! (We'll see you in Ukwaine against Fwance)" in relation to next month's European Championships.
The headline - which picked up on Hodgson's apparent difficulties in pronouncing the letter R - has sparked more than 100 complaints to the press watchdog.
The FA said it had also received a "large number of objections" to The Sun's coverage.
Hodgson, 64, is "affectionately known as Woy due to this speech impediment", according to the newspaper.
The Sun's story came a day after Hodgson was unveiled as the national side's new boss, taking over from Fabio Capello.
FA chairman David Bernstein said: "We are delighted at the media response to Roy's appointment but are disappointed with the headline in The Sun, which we consider is in poor taste and disrespectful."
A spokesman for the Press Complaints Commission (PCC) said: "I can confirm we have had over 100 complaints."
The FA said it would not be making an official complaint to the PCC.
But it added it had raised the issue with the newspaper and "made it clear" the organisation found the front page unacceptable.
The Sun's publisher News International has yet to make any comment on the headline.
