Three stars of “Modern Family” got more than they bargained for
on their way to a charity event on Friday (March 1) in Kansas City, MO.
Eric Stonestreet, Julie Bowen, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson were stuck in an elevator at the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel for an hour with about a dozen other passengers.
Keeping their sense of humor, the trio sent tweets from the scene
and posted pictures of the crowded space with the plea to maintenance
workers to get them out.
After an hour, the group was rescued by firefighters, and the stars continued on their way to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kansas City fundraiser, where they closed out their performance with "Have a great night – don't use the elevators!"
