It’s been a long and tedious battle, but Kim Kardashian finally learned a piece of promising news regarding her divorce on Friday (February 15).
The 32-year-old reality star's court battle with Kris Humphries is ready to go to trial.
"[Humphries] has had more than adequate time to prepare," L.A.
Superior Court Judge Stephen Moloney stated during the hearing, in which
a trial date was set for May 6.
The legal battle between the former married couple regards Kris’ claims that Kim committed fraud by never intending to be married.
Kim’s attorney Laura Wasser insists that these allegations are false, and that the “Keeping up with the Kardashians” star is just trying to finalize the divorce.
Laura previously told People, "We want a trial because that's the only way this will end. There was no fraud. They have no case."
