Carrying
on with the awards show craziness, the Canadian music industry’s Juno
Awards has just announced the contenders for this year’s festivities.
And Justin Bieberhas definitely redeemed his Grammy snub, as he’s been tapped for a total of four trophies including Best Artist, Best Pop Album, Best Album, and Top Fan Choice.
Carly Rae Jepsen went even further than the Biebs, scoring five chances for hardware including Best Artist, Best Single, and Best Album.
Other nominees for the 2013 Juno Awards (slated for April 21st and hosted by Michael Buble) include deadmau5, Johnny Reid, Leonard Cohen, Maroon 5, Mumford & Sons, One Direction, and Taylor Swift.
