have sex? These are some of the questions condom maker Durex sought to
answer when it conducted two surveys recently.
The Durex Sexual Wellbeing Global Survey was conducted last fall by Harris Interactive among a total of 29,003 adults in 36 countries, while the Durex In Sync Sex Survey was conducted among 1,000 Americans earlier this year.
Perhaps the most disheartening finding was this: Most women are having really lousy sex.
“The findings suggest the majority of Canadian women simply make do with a mediocre sex life,' Jana Swedburg, brand manager of Durex Canada, said in a press release.
However, on the plus side: “We also found that having great sex improves mood and reduces stress, indicating that a fulfilling sex life is a key component to psychological well-being,” Swedburg said.
