Tea Party To Inspire Entreprenuers!!! Iyanya, AY, Mai Atafo & More LIVE

On Friday 28th September 2012, one of the top global tea brands, Lipton Yellow Label, launched its first Lipton Tea Party themed “Making Success a Habit” at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event was an exciting evening charged with creativity and fun, where guests networked, shared ideas and discussed various topics while enjoying different blends of Lipton.

Speaking at the event, Thabo Mabe (Managing Director, Unilever Nigeria) said that just like good habits, Lipton tea is pleasurable, invigorating and uplifting – qualities that endear Lipton to Unilever and the millions of Lipton fans across the world.

Guest speakers at the event were Ifueko Omogui-Okauru, Toyosi Akerele, Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, Mai Atafo and Gbegan Sesan. The speakers who are respected individuals in their various fields, used their personal stories to inspire guests and emerging entrepreneurs to embark on their pursuits and quest for success with courage. Discussions were educative with lots of inspiration that got the audience to switch on their minds for success.

Also at the Tea Party, Nigerian music sensation, Iyanya was present to thrill all with his hit tracks. To wrap up the event, Unilever unveiled the Lipton Switch On & Win promotion which will run from October 2nd to December 21st. On Saturday 26th May 2012, the highly anticipated comedy and music show – The African Kings of Comedy finally took place at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The show organised by Baron’s World Entertainment in conjunction with Trace Urban, kicked off at 6 PM and saw comedic performances by Basketmouth, Okey Bakassi, Loyiso Gola, Ndumiso Lindi, Bovi, Buchi, Akpororo, Daliso Chaponda, Funny Bone, I Go Dye,Dan D Humorous, Sim Card, I Go Save and many others. What’s a night of comedy without music? Some of Nigeria’s top artistes including Davido, 2Face, Tiwa Savage, M.I., Timi Dakolo, Wizkid, Brymo, Jesse Jagz, Vector, Iyanya, Eva, Chuddy K, Darey Art-Alade, K-Mos, Black Magic, Mo’Eazy and a host of others kept all attendees dancing with their hit tracks.
Also in attendance were Dame Abimbola Fashola, Funmi Iyanda, Freeze, Julius Agwu, Linda Ikeji, Jay Jay Okocha, AY, Tayo Shonekan, Lanre DaSilva Ajayi, DJ Jimmy Jatt, Zaina, Tee A, Dan Foster and lots more.
