Long before “Skyfall” hit theaters, everyone knew it was going to
be huge. And now the 23rd James Bond flick has surpassed “The Dark
Knight Rises” for worldwide box office sales.
According to a report, the British spy film is now the seventh highest-grossing movie of all time thanks to $1.094 billion in global revenue.
“Skyfall’s” January 21st debut in China really helped to give it
the boost it needed to overtake the latest installment in the Batman
franchise.
As for the six films ahead of Daniel Craig's gig, they are (1) “Avatar,” (2) “Titanic,” (3) “Marvel’s The Avengers,” (4) “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2,” (5) “Transformers: Dark of the Moon,” and (6) “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.”
