Given Tinseltown’s propensity for rumors, it’s not surprising that Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones have been forced to defend their 12-year marriage.
Recently, reports began surfacing that the showbiz couple is in the midst of a “hush hush trial separation,” though it turns out nothing could be farther from the truth.
The Enquirer claimed, “Michael said something to the effect that
he and Catherine were taking a ‘time out,’ and he was looking forward to
having an entire house as his personal man cave.”
“It's because of Dylan and Carys that Michael and Catherine aren't giving up on each other. But only time will tell if they can make things work over the long haul,” added the tabloid.
However a rep for Douglas and Zeta Jones has slammed the notion that the famous pair’s marriage is in peril. “The story is completely false,” said the statement.
