He’s had no shortage of bad press, so when Chris Brown was accused of getting chewed out by Adele at the 55th Grammy Awards, he was understandably concerned.
However, the “Rolling in the Deep” songstress went above and beyond the call of duty and cleared up the misconception via Twitter, and Breezy couldn’t be more relieved.
Chris tweeted, “Pleasure to meet u @OfficialAdele. I heard your
words and that’s all that matters. Thank u for speaking truth. CB.”
Adele originally set the record straight with her own tweet- “Chris Brown and I were complimenting each other in that photo actually!” in response to speculation that she was scolding him in an awkward picture that surfaced earlier in the week.
