After a frenzied brawl at W.i.P. nightclub in New York City in June, both Drake and Chris Brown filed lawsuits against each other for starting the battle.
According to TMZ, the lawsuits emerged because a French model named Romain Julien filed a complaint against both rappers for injuries he suffered that night. Trying to deflect the blame, the famous partygoers both responded in court, alleging that it was the other that caused the fracas.
Though no criminal charges have been filed regarding the event,
NBA star Tony Parker also incurred injuries and sued the nightclub
alone.
However, in retaliation, the club's owners have sued both Drake and Chris alleging that they "ordered security personnel, bodyguards, friends and entourages to join the fight, which erupted into a violent brawl on a massive scale."
