Can You Rap to Win N500k?

U-Rap is an online/You Tube competition open to all Nigerian rap artists at home and abroad. Promoted by Ultima Ltd a pioneer content developer and producers of Project Fame West Africa and responsible for discovering talents such as Iyanya, Chidinma, Myke, Praiz, and several others. The goal is to give talented Nigerian’s everywhere a platform to showcase their creativity, style and uniqueness and to motivate anyone interested in the rap genre.
In order to participate all an entrant requires is; A 2minute home-made/self-made video of him/herself rapping (ensure it is NOT more than 2minutes Max, and many tablets(iphone, GalaxyTab, etc), good smartphones and camcorders can be used) Go to www.urap.ultimalimited.com to register and upload his/her own video. Check for his/her entry after 12 hours, on YouTube at www.youtube.com/theuraptv and on www.urap.ultimalimited.com Share his/her video using facebook, twitter and other with all his/her contacts, friends and family and ask them to view and for him/her; the more votes he/she gets, the better the chances of winning.
Each entry will be assessed using votes (25%), views (25%) and Judges (50%) The Judges (Illbliss, WeirdMC, Show dem Camp & Maria from BEAT FM) will view all the entries and assess and the entries with the highest scores from Votes, Views and Judges will be selected. Artist/entrants are allowed to submit Up to three entries for each stage of the competition, which has 4 stages: Preliminary, Quarter Final, Semi-Final and Final Rounds.
While the Preliminary stage is open to everyone, only shortlisted contestants will make it through to the Quarter final, semi final and final rounds. The winner will win a cash sum of N500,000.00 info@ultimalimited.com
RULES> RULES OF THE COMPETITION .
The video must be two minutes long . All entries must be received by the advertised closing time and date. (March 23rd for Preliminary round.) . Entries must be submitted online via www.urap.ultimalimited.com . A maximum of three entries for each stage of the competition is permitted per person. . Video must be in any of these formats: flv..MOV, .MPEG4, .AVI, .WMV, .MPEGPS, 3GPP, WebM. We would recommend .Mov for better quality. .FLV is recommended if you cannot get enough internet bandwidth to upload.
