She’s definitely the darling of awards shows, and Adele showed up at the Governor’s Ball in Hollywood after the Oscars last night (February 24).
The “Chasing Pavements” chick hammed it up with Barbara Streisand and Shirley Bassey at the Hollywood & Highland Center following her big win at the 85th Academy Awards.
And though she’s won approximately 105 trophies throughout her
career, Adele’s victory in the Best Original Song category (for her hit
‘Skyfall’) was her crowning achievement thus far.
During her acceptance speech, she fought back tears while declaring, “Thank you so much. This is amazing.” Adele also thanked her management team and co-writer Paul Epworth before concluding, “And my man. I love you baby!”
