Given his worldwide stardom, David Beckham was a welcome sight for the patients of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital when he dropped by for a visit yesterday (January 16).
The English soccer stud looked handsome as he spent time with the folks being treated at the Teenage Cancer Trust’s Young Persons Unit, posing for pictures and signing autographs all around the ward.
And it sounds like Becks was just as blessed by the patients as they were to receive a visit from him.
David exclaimed, "To come here today and see the work... of the nurses, the work of the doctors, I think it's a pretty amazing place. It's very uplifting because you're meeting the guys, you're meeting some of the troops. They are very positive about life and their future so it really has been an inspiring visit."
