Of the situation, assistant press secretary to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Nick Loughran, released a statement reading: "The Duchess of Cambridge has been discharged from the King Edward VII Hospital and will now head to Kensington Palace for a period of rest. Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank the staff at the hospital for the care and treatment The Duchess has received."
his past Monday (December 3) a spokesperson for the Royal Family shared that Catherine and Will are expecting their first child, though the announcement seemed to be forced by Middleton’s need for medical attention.
Said to be about 12 weeks along, Ms. Middleton experienced horrible bouts of nausea in the days leading up to her hospitalization. For now she’ll spend some time resting at Kensington Palace in London.
