The inaugural edition of Real Estate Unite Conference Lagos 2012 organised by 3Invest Limited, a
premier real estate marketing, media and advocacy company, took place
at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event which was also an
award ceremony, commenced at 7 PM and was sponsored by Fine & Country.
The black tie event hosted by top comedian, Ali Baba, was graced by the representative of the Minister for Housing, who delivered an address and a rep for business mogul, Aliko Dangote. Other attendees of the night included Chief Kola Akomolede of FIABCI, Roland Igbinoba of Pison Housing Company, Udo Okonjo of Fine and Country, Erejuwa Gbadebo of Broll Nigeria, Kojo Sagoe of Aso Savings, Toke Ibru of Guardian Newspaper, Tayo Sonuga of Haven Homes, Prince Lekan Shekoni of Saunders Development, Chudi Ejekam of ACTIS West Africa, Niyi Adeleye of Standard Bank, Afolabi Imoukhuede of UKAID GEMS 2, Hakeem Ogunniran of UACN Property Development Company and Akin Olawore of Akin Olawore & Co.
As the evening went on, there were musical performances by R&B Star, Timi Dakolo, who performed his new song, Great Nation as well as one of Africa’s undisputed entertainers, 2Face Idibia. Just before they got on stage to perform, award winning photographer, Kelechi Amadi-Obi showcased an art exhibition sponsored by Saunders Development. It was themed Landscape Photography of Lagos and Its Environs.
