Neil Armstrong, the first man to land on the moon, has passed away — how sad.
Neil Armstrong died on Saturday, Aug. 25, after undergoing heart surgery earlier this month.
Neil was on the Apollo 11 spacecraft, which landed on the moon on July 20, 1969. At the time of his landing, Neil echoed back to Earth, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."
More details to come.
