Roy Hodgson has confirmed his 23-man England squad for Euro 2012, with Phil Jagielka replacing the injured Gareth Barry.
Scans confirmed that Manchester City midfielder Barry picked up a lower abdomen problem against Norway at the weekend and he will be replaced in the squad by Everton defender Jagielka.
Jagielka was left out of the initial squad but played the full 90 minutes of Saturday's 1-0 victory in Oslo where he impressed alongside former team-mate Joleon Lescott.
"I am very disappointed to lose Gareth," said Hodgson.
"Not only was he a member of my original squad but he has featured prominently in the England team over the last few years.
"I know how much he wanted to be part of the tournament but I'm sure he will still have a part to play with England after the Euros. I wish him a speedy recovery."
Danny Welbeck and Glen Johnson had been doubts with ankle and toe injuries respectively, but they have been passed fit for this summer's showpiece.
