Barack Obama has made an impromptu singing performance alongside Stones frontman Sir Mick Jagger as he hosted Blues legends at the White House.
The US President's surprise singing turn came while Jagger, BB King and Buddy Guy were playing Sweet Home Chicago - the blues anthem of Obama's home town.
Cajoling the president into singing, Guy said: "You done started something. You gotta keep it up now," referring to Obama's stint singing Al Green at a fundrasier in New York last month.
"You can do it!" King added.
Jagger then handed Obama the microphone and he seemed happy to comply with their wishes.
"Come on, baby don't you want to go," the president sang out twice, ending with the line, "Sweet Home Chicago".
The concert, held in the White House's East Room, featured musicians including Jeff Beck and Grammy winner Keb Mo.
They played an all-hits playlist to a select audience.
Jagger performed I can't Turn You Loose, Miss You and teamed up with Beck for Commit a Crime, getting the president and his wife up out of their seats, swaying and clapping to the music.
In a speech, Obama paid tribute to the music genre.
"This music speaks to something universal," he declared. "No one goes through life without both joy and pain, triumph and sorrow.
"The blues gets all of that, sometimes with just one lyric or one note. "
