Nurses Suspended Over Baby Restraint Claims

Five nurses have been suspended at Scunthorpe General Hospital after allegations of restraining a baby on one of the wards, according to reports.
"We can confirm an incident has occurred which the trust is investigating," North Lincolnshire NHS Trust has said in a statement.
"We are keeping the family fully informed. It would not therefore be appropriate to comment further at this stage."
Sky's North of England correspondent Mike McCarthy said: "We believe this (ward in question) to be the Disney Ward and that allegations were made in connection with the restraint of a baby.
"Although, the NHS trust has refused to confirm these details."
The hospital's Disney Ward caters for patients aged from a few days up to 16-years-old with a variety of medical and surgical needs, according to the NHS trust's website.
A Humberside Police spokesman confirmed: "We are investigating allegations of restraint of a baby at Scunthorpe General Hospital."
