Police Pass John Terry File To Prosecutors

Scotland Yard has passed a file to prosecutors relating to alleged racial slurs made by footballer John Terry, the Crown Prosecution Service has said.
Prosecutors will now decide whether there is enough evidence to bring charges.
England and Chelsea captain Terry was questioned under caution about the allegations by police on Tuesday.
Police launched an investigation following a complaint by a member of the public after QPR's win against Chelsea on October 23.
It relates to an alleged incident involving QPR defender Anton Ferdinand. Terry has denied racially abusing the player, saying that his on-pitch comments were taken out of context
Shortly after the allegations were made, Terry issued a statement saying: "I've seen that there's a lot of comments on the internet with regards to some video footage of me during the game.
"I'm disappointed that people have leapt to the wrong conclusions about the context of what I was seen to be saying to Anton Ferdinand.
"I would never say such a thing, and I'm saddened that people would think so."
The Football Association is also investigating the claims, but says it will not comment until the police investigation has been completed.
