Fergie relishing Ajax clash

John Alexander expects a cracker of a match when his side meet Ajax.
Sir Alex Ferguson is relishing the prospect of facing Ajax in the Europa League.
Ferguson's men were handed a tricky last-32 tie after slipping out of the Champions League but the Scot insisted he was excited about facing new opposition.
"Ajax are a good team and I've never faced them in competitive European football," Ferguson told United's official website. "I'm looking forward to it."
United defender Chris Smalling also welcomed the clash with a fellow former European champion and said his team-mates were determined to shrug off their disappointment.
"It was a massive disappoinment [going out of the Champions League]," Smalling said. "But look at the calibre of teams that are in the Europa League.
"Ajax have a lot of history. That will be a good test. Whoever wins the competition will be a good team.
