Kardashian sisters base novel on family life

Their own lives play out in tabloids and on TV (not to mention last year'stell-all autobiography), but the Kardashian sisters are ready to tell another family's story.

Kim, Kourtney and Khloé are making their fiction debut with an upcoming novel, "Dollhouse."

The work, which arrives in bookstores November 1, follows the glitzy and glamorous day-by-day happenings of a family in the spotlight. "The novel is based on our lives but we've added a lot of crazy fictional twists and turns," Kim wrote on her blog. "You'll have to decide for yourself which story lines are true to life, and which ones we dreamed up."

The sisters reached out to their loyal following in May to name the book, and the winner, fan Courtney Powell, is featured in the novel.

"We can't wait," Kim also said of the upcoming release.
