Club Transfer: Wenger still hoping to keep Fabregas

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has confessed the summer transfer window has not gone according to plan, but he assured the Gunners fans that they can hope to see a signing of "super quality" player "next week".

Wenger has spent more of his time attempting to hold on to his current squad rather than adding to it, with Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri both linked with moves away from North London.

The Gunners Boss, who has not delivered a trophy since 2005, admits he has been as frustrated as the fans, revealing he had hoped to complete his summer dealings by now.
