Sheen's New Sitcom Called 'Anger Management'

The star plans to return to the small screen after being dumped from Two And A Half Men in March.
Sheen's mood swings were blamed for his clash with the makers of the hugely popular show.
After his dismissal the 45-year-old made a series of bizarre rants online, in various media interviews and during a live stand-up tour.
The new sitcom - to be made by Lionsgate Television - will be based on the 2003 film of the same name, which starred Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson

Troubled actor Charlie Sheen is set to make a TV comeback in a new sitcom which has what some would say is a fitting title - Anger Management

In the film a mild-mannered man is ordered to attend group anger-management sessions led by a therapist who needs anger therapy himself.
"I chose 'Anger Management' because, while it might be a big stretch for me to play a guy with serious anger management issues, I think it is a great concept," Sheen said, with apparent irony.
Sheen has in the past boasted of his own wild lifestyle and drug binges but has claimed to have single-handedly defeated addiction.
In November, he filed for divorce from his wife of two years, days after being taken to the hospital following the reported drunken incident at a luxury New York hotel involving a porn star.
Ashton Kutcher is replacing Sheen in Two And A Half Men, US TV's most-watched sitcom, but will play a different character.
