{PHOTOS} Hawt Ladies At "An Unforgettable Evening"


Lending their star power to a good cause, Julianne Hough and Lisa Kudrow attended EIF Womens Cancer Research's 16th Annual "An Unforgettable Evening" in Beverly Hills, CA on Thursday (May 2).
Glamming up the Beverly Wilshire Hotel arrivals area, the "Friends" star rocked a classic little black dress while the former "Dancing with the Stars" babe added a pop of color with her red frock.
Also on hand for the evening, which was sponsored by Saks Fifth Avenue, were comedian Chelsea Handler and "Sleepless In Seattle" actress Rita Wilson.
According to the organization's website, the funds raised at tonight's gathering will go towards sustaining the critical research for early detection and prevention of women’s cancer.

Beyonce, JLo & Florence Welch Team Up For "Chime For Change"


Banding together to support females, girl power icons Beyoncé Knowles, Florence Welch, and Jennifer Lopez will perform at a Chime for Change concert on June 1st.
Sponsored by Gucci, the show will raise money for nonprofits promoting female empowerment. Along with the trio of talent, Ellie Goulding, HAIM, Iggy Azalea, John Legend, Laura Pausini, Rita Ora, and Timbaland will take the stage at London's Twickenham Stadium.
In a statement, the mother of little Blue Ivy Carter says, "Our goal is to call for change for girls and women in the loudest voice possible. I am excited for us to come together on June 1st to bring the issues of Education, Health and Justice for girls and women to the world stage."
Presenters at the star-studded event include James Franco, Blake Lively, and Jada Pinkett Smith. Ticket holders will receive a Sound of Change voucher to choose which girls and women's project to support.

Katy Perry Stuns at the Delete Blood Cancer New York Gala


Always one to support a good cause, Katy Perry stepped out for the 2013 Delete Blood Cancer Gala on Wednesday (May 1) in New York City.
The “Firework” songstress looked lovely in a floor-length strapless blue gown with black embellishments as she posed on the arrivals carpet on her way inside.
Held at Cipriani Wall Street, the event promotes the need for bone marrow donors to fight cancers of the blood, such as leukemia.
This year, fashion designer Vera Wang, OPI Products co-founder Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, and actress Leighton Meester will be honored for their promotion of Delete Blood Cancer’s Share the Love campaign.

Ben Affleck Commits to Living Off $1.50 Per Day for Charity


In an effort to further extend his good deed resume, Ben Affleck committed to living on $1.50 per day to bring awareness to global hunger and poverty.
Teaming up with the “Live Below the Line” charity team, the “Argo” star vowed to live on the small amount of cash, which will cover his food and drink, for five days.
On Monday (April 22), Ben tweeted, “1.4 billion people live on less than $1.50/day. I’m joining Live #BelowTheLine on behalf of @easterncongo. Will you?”
Other stars including Sophia Bush and Josh Groban are also reportedly taking part in the challenge.
The campaign begins on April 29 and runs until May 3.

Leonardo DiCaprio Donates $61,000 to GLAAD


Proving that his support for LGTB rights isn't just for show, Leonardo DiCaprio donated a total of $61,000 at the GLAAD Media Awards on Saturday (April 20).
The "Great Gatsby" star first forked over $25,000 in the pledge drive conducted by Wilson Cruz before shelling out for a few auctions.
In the live auction, the 38-year-old actor won a $22,000 African safari from Micato Safaris, while the silent auction induced a $14,000 winning bid for a photo of Marilyn Monroe from the Andrew Weiss gallery in L.A.
Meanwhile, Leo is planning his own "11th Hour Auction" on May 13th to benefit the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, which aims to protect the earth's natural resources.

Celebs Support Education at City Year L.A.'s Spring Break Bash


Taking time out of their busy schedules to support education in the city of L.A., the stars came out to Sony Pictures Studios for the City Year Los Angeles' Spring Break: Destination Education party on Saturday (April 20).
Blending A-listers and at-risk students, the night of food, music, interactive booths, and fun included celebrity hosts Chris and Liam Hemsworth, Ed Westwick, Octavia Spencer, and Rashida Jones.
Founded in 1988, the nonprofit organization partners with public schools and teachers to help keep students on track to succeed using AmeriCorps volunteers.
Also on hand to show their support were AnnaSophia Robb, Ariel Winter, Chord Overstreet, Hailee Steinfeld, Jessica Szohr, Julianne Hough, and Topher Grace.
