The five ladies, who rose to stardom with their catchy hits such as "Wannabe" and "Spice Up Your Life," reached the decision after a conference call between four of the members.
While a 2014 tour had already been axed after Victoria Beckham backed out, rumors emerged that the remaining singers would participate in a reality show to find the next Posh Spice, however, the ladies decided to dissolve the group.
Though they may no longer be the Spice Girls, all of the talented women have other gigs lined up to keep them busy in their retirement
