During Friday night's intense manhunt in the Boston area, a Fox
news station's closed captioning blunder provided a bit of comic relief
for concerned viewers (April 19).
As law enforcement surrounded Boston Marathon bombing suspect, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the station referred to "19-year-old Zooey Deschanel."
As keen-eyed viewers picked up on the mistake, celebs like Joel McHale shared a screen grab of the error on Twitter.
Eventually, it made its way to the "New Girl" star herself, who tweeted, "Whoa! Epic closed captioning FAIL! “@joelmchale: Oh my."
