Jay Leno to Exit "The Tonight Show" in 2014; Jimmy Fallon Front Runner to Take Over

As the "Tonight Show"'s Jay Leno ages, NBC is reportedly planning the move to a new host in the near future.
According to The Hollywood Reporter sources, NBC may make the 2013-2014 TV season the last for the 62-year-old comedian.
As current host, the large-chinned star regularly wins the ratings war in his current slot, but Jimmy Kimmel's recent move has grabbed some of the 18-49 demographic.
The most natural replacement is still considered to be Jimmy Fallon, who will move from his spot on "Late Night" to the much fussed-over 11:35 time slot.
When asked, a representative for Jay simply said, "We do not speculate on rumor." Leno's current contract will coincidentally end in 2014.
