A day after postponing concerts in Chicago and Detroit, Lady Gaga has cancelled all remaining dates on her tour.
After an announcement posted on the "Bad Romance" singer's web site on Wednesday evening (February 13), the Born This Way Ball Tour has officially come to an end after a hip injury sidelined the star.
The posting read, “Live Nation Global Touring has confirmed that
the remainder of the Lady Gaga Born This Way Ball performances have been
cancelled. After additional tests this morning to review the severity
of the issue, it has been determined that Lady Gaga has a labral tear of
the right hip caused by strenuous repetitive movements in her
performances. She will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by
strict down time to recover. This unfortunately, will force her to
cancel the tour, so she can heal."
Little Monsters wishing to receive a refund for their ticket purchases will be able to get one at the point of purchase beginning February 14.
