The 'Safe Haven' actor - who has been married to the Black Eyed Peas singer since 2009 - joked about his intimate Valentine's Day plans in a pre-taped interview with 'Ellen', which is set to air today (15.02.13), despite filming the show before the romantic day.
Reminded by host Ellen DeGeneres that Valentine's Day "was yesterday", Josh quipped: "Yeah, Valentine's Day was great. I bought her a nice gift. I bought her some earrings, took her to dinner and then made sweet, sweet love."
