Kate Middleton Pranked By Radio Hosts

It’s no secret that everyone is clamoring for information on Kate Middleton's newly-announced pregnancy and one English radio station actually broke through the barriers for an update.
Mel Grieg and Michael Christian from 2Day FM found the phone number for the King Edward VII’s hospital wing where the Duchess of Cambridge is currently being treated, and called in for information on Kate’s condition.
Of course, Mel and Michael posed as Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles, and they actually tricked a nurse into revealing sensitive details.
A hospital spokesperson told press, “This call was transferred through to a ward and a short conversation was held with one of the nursing staff. King Edward VII’s Hospital deeply regrets this incident.”
In a separate release, 2Day FM also noted, “We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the inquiry.”
And the deejays shared, “We were very surprised that our call was put through. We thought we’d be hung up on as soon as they heard our terrible accents. We’re very sorry if we’ve caused any issues and we’re glad to hear that Kate is doing well.”
