Tinseltown’s Hottest Stars React to President Barack Obama’s Re-Election

It was a tense evening as the votes were counted last night (November 6) and when the dust settled President Barack Obama was elected to a second term in office.
And once the news spread, celebrities all over the world took to their Twitter accounts to share their reactions.

As could be expected, the vast majority of stars were overwhelmed with joy after hearing that Obama had beaten Mitt Romney in a narrow victory.
Lady Gaga proclaimed, “I JUST GOT OFF STAGE IN COLUMBIA!! CONGRATULATIONS MR. PRESIDENT @BarackObama We are so proud to be American tonight! YES!!! YES! YES!!” while Demi Lovato cheered, “Tonight is a good night for women. Proud to be a WOMAN IN AMERICA!!!”
Samuel L. Jackson chimed in, “A deep sigh of relief before celebration! Congratulations are in order for all who went out & worked & kept the faith & WOULD NOT BE DENIED!” and Rashida Jones boasted, “A VERY BIG EXHALE. #RightSideOfHistory #fourmoreyears #Obama2012”
