Having put together what's being dubbed as a near-perfect campaign, President Barack Obama appears to be staying put in the White House for four more years.
The current U.S. Commander-In-Chief's re-election was called by major media outlets after the State of Ohio and its eighteen electoral votes were named as having been won by Obama.
The 51-year-old Hawaiian born incumbent captured 303 electoral votes while having needed just 270 to retain his position atop the country's power ladder.
Confirming the victory further, reports tell that Republican challenger Mitt Romney conceded the race via a "classy" phone call to Obama, with the victor then calling former President Bill Clinton to thank him for his assistance throughout the arduous campaign trail.
Barack, along with First Lady Michelle and daughters, Sasha and Malia, watched the 2012 Election unfold at a Chicago hotel just down the street from his Democratic Party's official viewing event at McCormick Place.
