Things might start to get a bit more complicated with Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger. The newly-engaged couple spent the afternoon shopping and eating lunch in Paris on Sept. 14, while Avril seemed to be carrying something other than shopping bags.
Wearing a black hoodie and baggy black pants, the singer and fashion designer appeared to be hiding a tiny baby bump. Could she be pregnant with Chad's baby?
After her Abbey Dawn fashion show in New York on Sept. 10, the Sk8er Boi singer avoided the subject. When asked by Buzz if she was pregnant, Avril laughed and asked, "Are you?" before she rushed off.
That would explain why the couple got engaged after secretly dating for six months.
The couple reportedly started dating in February, and after a whirlwind romance, announced their engagement at the end of August. Now that Avril is more than Chad's girlfriend, she has finally met his mom.
"You never know what your parents are going to say when you tell them you're getting married – especially when it's with someone they haven't met yet!" the Nickelback frontman said. "My mom is a huge fan of Avril's, so putting her on the speakerphone and telling her the news was hilarious and equally embarrassing."

Avril's rep has denied the pregnancy rumors, according to EOnline. What a shame. We're all hoping that someday Chad and Avril will expand their family — there's no doubt that little baby will be a rockstar.
