It’s not easy being a dutchess! Kate Middleton, 30, reportedly spends quite the pretty penny on her beauty regime. There comes a price with being one of the most flawless public figures on the planet!The Daily Mail has estimated the Dutchess’s total beauty routine to be at about 22,000 British pounds per year. Yikes!
Kate is a total skincare junkie. She spares no expense when it comes to keeping her skin young and flawless. Camilla, Dutchess of Cornwall, reportedly gifted Kate the Heaven Bee Venom Face Mask, which she swears by, and runs at about $39 per pot. Taking approximately 3 pots a year into consideration plus a monthly facial and new Karin Herzog moisturizers, spot treatments, exfoliators, and cleansers every 3 months or so, Kate’s skincare regime reportedly totals an estimated $4,145.
To maintain her faux glow, Kate reportedly uses Xen Tan Spray Tan and Urban Retreat’s Airbrush Tan (about $62) two or three times a month. Kate is a fan of Jo Malone fragrances, which run at about $120 a bottle. These and other finishing details can easily come to around $2,187 a per year!
Weekly manicures and bi-monthly pedicures can sure add up, too. Kate’s trips to the Jo Hansford salon in Mayfair can easily run at about $73 a trip. This all comes to an estimated total of $4,856 a year.
Keeping your hair just-so comes at a constant maintenance cost. Six haircuts and colors a year plus tri-weekly blowouts courtesy of the Richard Wood salon can total upwards of $21,685 annually!
Kate is a big fan of Laura Mercier and Bobbi Brown cosmetics. She has been known to stock up on these brands’ beauty goodies when she hits the makeup counters. We love her choice in makeup and are glad that we’re not the only ones who can’t resist the allure of the beauty counters! Her trips can total up to $1,532 annually.
Sure, it’s not like Kate’s running out to the drugstore at the middle to pick up emergency spot-correctors like the rest of us, but it’s comforting to know that she puts major effort into keeping herself gorgeous.
