So sad! In some faraway universe, Edward Cullen and Bella Swan are happily celebrating their wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, that’s not exactly the case for the actors who portray these fictional characters. Read on for more details!“I, Edward Cullen, take you Isabella Swan, to be my lawfully wedded wife, my constant friend, my faithful partner, my love from this day forward. In the presence of God, our family and friends, I offer you my solemn vow to be your faithful partner in sickness and in health, and in joy as well as in sorrow. I promise to love you unconditionally, to support you in everything, to honor and respect you, to laugh with you and cry with you, and to cherish you for as long as we both shall live,” Edward vowed to Bella on this very day.
As their invitation in Breaking Dawn Part 1 stated, the wedding took place on Aug. 11, 2011. However, it’s up for debate — if you follow the books — that they actually got married in 2006.
Either way, today is a happy day for these lovey dovey vampires, but unfortunately, a lot has happened off screen to the actors who portray them: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. We hope in the near future we can see Rob and Kristen be as happy as Edward and Bella are in Forks, Washington, today!
