The House of Representatives have made it clear that the chairman Zenon Oil and Gas Limited, Femi Otedola is not the immediate focus of the on-going investigation of the $620,000 bribery allegation against former chairman of the ad-hoc committee on fuel subsidy, Farouk Lawan. The spokesman of the house, Mr. Zakari Mohammed, speaking at the national assembly on Wednesday, stated that the oil mogul was only invited as a witness in a case concerning one of their members.
The lawmaker, however, added that despite the bribery controversy, the house remains committed to the full implementation of the subsidy probe report.
