Get ready, world — because another Kardashian girl has just been born. According to E! News, Kourtney Kardashian gave birth to a healthy baby girl (weighing in at 7 pounds, 14 ounces) early Sunday in LA. So what name did she decide to give to her brand new bundle of joy? And more importantly, does it start with a K? Nope!
The reality star told E!: "Scott and I are overjoyed to welcome our precious angel Penelope Scotland Disick into our lives. We are forever blessed. Mommy and baby are resting comfortably."
And although Kourtney was nervous about the birth, proud grandma Kris Jenner says it all went smoothly. "It was a great. She had an easy delivery. [Penelope] is so cute. She looks just like Mason. She's so beautiful. We are so happy."
It was very similar, in fact, to the delivery of 2-year-old son, Mason. Kourtney said at the time: "It was surprisingly easy and just an incredible experience. I always thought your first is supposed to be really hard, but it was easy. I have an amazing doctor. He actually delivered me!"
Kourtney announced she was expecting a second child with her longtime boyfriend of five years, Scott Disick, back in November 2011. Let's just hope they heed our advice and prove to be exceptional role models for their little girl.
