Attempted Murder Charge After Jessie J GiG

A man has been charged with attempted murder after another man was
attacked with a bottle at a party where Jessie J had performed.
Ashley Charles, 25, of Leicester, is due to appear before Camberwell
Green Magistrates Court in London on Saturday.
A 37-year-old man remains in a critical condition in hospital after he
was injured in the neck at the event organised by BlackBerry.
Brit award-winner Jessie J had been singing at the celebrity-packed
party before the brawl around midnight on Tuesday night at Pulse
nightclub, in Southwark, central London.
She spoke of her shock on Twitter, saying: "My thoughts are with the
person who was seriously injured last night at the blackberry bbm
party.
"So sad. I really hope they are ok."
The party, to promote Blackberry's instant messaging service, was
attended by journalists, celebrities including rapper Wretch 32 and
stars of The Only Way Is Essex and BlackBerry competition winners.
The phone company said in a statement: "A serious incident occurred at
our BlackBerry event... Our first concern is the wellbeing of the
injured guest.
"We are doing all we can to assist police with their inquiries and are
unable to provide further comment at this time."
