The announcement was made on wednesday by the new elected
President Macky Sall,two days after his inauguration ceremony.Ndour
had earlier organized a big concert for sall on monday night to
celebrate the new era in senegal .
Senegal's new president won a runoff election by a large margin,
defeating former leader Abdoulaye Wade.
Earlier this year, the grammy award winning singer Ndour himself
launched a failed bid for the presidency but was disqualified and
later threw his support behind Sall.
