Wayne Rooney's EURO 2012 ban has been reduced to two games.
Wayne Rooney has been cleared to play in England's final group game at Euro 2012 after UEFA reduced his three-match suspension to two on appeal.
The Manchester United striker was handed the original ban after his sending off for kicking out at Montenegro's Miodrag Dzudovic during the 2-2 draw which sealed England's qualification in October.
The FA believed the punishment excessive and persuaded a three-man panel at UEFA's Nyon headquarters to suspend the final match on condition of good behaviour in an England shirt over the next four years.
Club England managing director Adrian Bevington said: "It is a positive outcome. Wayne Rooney and Fabio Capello are both very pleased.
"Wayne always made it clear he accepted it was a red card offence and we are very pleased with the outcome.
"We arrived with the possibility of him missing the entire group phase so to have him available against Ukraine is a positive result."
If selected, Rooney will sit out games against France and Sweden before becoming available for the final Group D match against co-hosts Ukraine on 19 June
